MEAGHAN WALL, President

Meaghan leads the Special Needs Ministry at Stonebriar Community Church, a role she has held for almost 15 years, as a consultant with the ReThink Group. Meaghan works with churches around the world to develop their own Special Needs Ministry, and speaks at multiple conferences annually about the importance of churches actively reaching out to families with children with special needs. She has a BA in Social Work from Texas Tech University, along with her LBSW certification, and an MA in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological University.

​

Meaghan also serves on the Labeled and Loved Board, the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council, and is a past board member of the Miracle League of Frisco. She joined the Fastpacs board in June 2020 and chairs the Programs Committee, helping ensure that operations run smoothly. Meaghan will serve as board chair beginning in June 2023, for a 2-year term. With husband Michael, Meaghan is raising sons Jackson and Grayson in Frisco.

MATTHEW REITER, Board TREASURER

 

A Certified Public Accountant, Matthew has contributed his skills and 20+ years of experience in finance and audit to the Fastpacs board since January 2019. He is the Director of Audit for the audit practice of Whitley Penn, LLP, and serves as the partner in charge of their Plano office. He earned a BBA and Masters in Accounting from Texas Tech University.

 

Along with membership in many professional accounting organizations, Matthew is a graduate of Leadership Frisco and Leadership Dallas, and also serves on the Advisory Board of Heroes for Children. He is on the Finance Committee at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, and is the Past Chair of the Board of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.

​

​With wife Tracie, Matthew lives in Frisco and has three children: Blake, Brayden and Bailey.

ANN ANDERSON, Board SECRETARY

​

Ann is the principal of Anderson Agency, a Farmers Insurance office that she founded in 2013 after a career in financial services. Her company prioritizes helping others and giving back, and this has made Ann a visible and vital part of the Frisco business community. She is on the Executive Committee of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Board, will serve as Vice President of Community Involvement for Friso Women's League for 2023-24 and is a past chair of WEB, the women's division of the Frisco Chamber and Past President of Sunrise Rotary Club of Frisco.

​

Ann is a graduate of Leadership Frisco as well as a member of the City of Frisco Public Art Board, and serves as the VP of Community Involvement for the Frisco Women's League. She also volunteers as a past-president of Frisco Sunrise Rotary and member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 178. She joined the Fastpacs board in 2020.

​

After 17 years in Frisco, Ann and her husband Thor have raised two college-aged children, both of whom are Frisco ISD graduates.

TRACY GAMBLE, BOARD MEMBER

Tracy moved to Frisco to join family in 2005, and began volunteering with Frisco Women's League in 2006, working with non-profits all over North Texas. She went on to serve on the FWL board in several capacities, including two terms as President. Tracy also serves as President of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 178, is on the Marketing Committees for the Frisco Bowl and Leadership Frisco, and co-chaired the Information & Services Committee for the 2023 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. In past roles, Tracy was appointed to the board of the Frisco Community Development Corporation, and the City of Frisco 2015 Charter Review Commission.

​

Tracy joined the Fastpacs board in May 2020; she also served on the Empty Bowls Frisco steering committee from 2019-2022.  Tracy has worked in marketing, governmental relations, and public affairs for over twenty years, and was honored by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce as 2014 Sole Proprietor of the Year.

SADAF HAQ, BOARD MEMBER

Originally from New York State, Sadaf moved to Frisco with her family in 2015. She co-founded a medical practice in Frisco with her husband, for which she provides community relations and business development. She is also the founder of Be In Health Foundation, a non-profit serving children in Frisco ISD without basic medical and wellness care. Sadaf has a B.S. in biology and a Masters in Public Health from SUNY-Albany.

​

Sadaf is in her third year on the Fastpacs Board of Directors. A passionate and active community advocate, she also sits on the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council, the City of Frisco's Inclusion Committee, the Maus MS PTA Board, the board of MuslimAidUSA, the Texas Healthcare Advisory Council, and the Texas Health Resources Community Impact Council for Collin County. She chairs the City of Frisco's Social Services and Housing Board, and serves on two Frisco ISD committees-- the Diversity Task Force and Student Healthcare Advisory Committee. She was a New Leaders Council fellow in the class of 2021, and is a graduate of Leadership North Texas.

​

Sadaf has been published twice in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, and just recently had her first children’s book published. The Haqs have three daughters attending Frisco ISD schools.

CHRISTAL HOWARD, BOARD MEMBER

2022-2023 is Christal's third year on the Fastpacs Board of Directors, where she leads the Events Committee. She recently chaired the Empty Bowls Frisco event, and emceed the fundraiser for the third year. Christal has previously served on the Frisco Education Foundation Board and the Visit Frisco (CVB) Board. She is a past Chair of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce Board, and is a Survivor Spokesperson for the American Heart Association.

 

Christal moved to Frisco in 2013 to launch a local edition of Community Impact Newspaper, where she worked for 10+ years.  Christal took on a new role of Chief Operating Officer of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce earlier this year and has hit the ground running, using her business acumen in tandem with the knowledge and pride she has for our great city.  Prior to her days in Frisco, Christal worked in television news as an anchor, managing editor and reporter. She earned a BA in Journalism from Texas Tech University.

​

With husband Michael, Christal has two children: Emma and Bennett.

Maurice D. Jelks is a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer with the Bank of America Private Bank in Frisco.  His focus is on the administration of clients’ trusts and carrying out the provisions contained in trust documents. Prior to Bank of America, Maurice was with The Northern Trust Company in Chicago where he held various positions in trust and asset servicing.

 

Maurice earned his M.B.A. from DeVry University in Chicago, IL and an undergraduate degree from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA.  A McKinney resident, he is an avid supporter of his community and enjoys spending time mentoring young professionals.  When he’s not working or volunteering, he’s more than likely enjoying some of his favorite pastimes - tennis, pickle ball, spending time with his family or enjoying a nice motorcycle ride.

lauren laAke, Board MEMBER

Lauren Laake has worked in Frisco for the past 5 years. She currently is the Community Outreach Manager for Baylor Scott & White Health and manages outreach, community relations, corporate outreach and programming on behalf of Baylor Scott & White Health Medical Center – Centennial as well as the new Baylor Scott & White Health Medical Center Frisco at PGA Parkway. Prior to joining the BSWH team, Lauren worked for the PGA of America as Community Relations Lead where she played an integral part in laying the foundation for community engagement in the DFW Metroplex and the opening of the new home office of the PGA of America in Frisco.

In addition to her professional experience, Lauren also spends a significant amount of time investing in herself and giving back to the community. She is an alumni of Leadership Frisco - Class 24 and serves on the Community Engagement & Opportunity Council Advisory Board, Plug and Play Advisory Council and previously served on the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council, Celina Education Foundation Board of Directors, and American Heart Association’s Leaders for Life.

Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University in 2008 and is currently pursuing her Executive Master of Public Service and Administration at The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M (Whoop!).

CHRISTI MITCHELL, Board MEMBER

Christi is originally from Dallas and moved to Frisco in 2013 with her husband Gregg, and her two youngest children, Jackson and Elliot. Christi joined the Frisco Women's League in 2014, and is now a sustaining member, having served in several roles on the FWL Board including a two-year term as President. Christi also serves as a Frisco Project Leader for Wee Volunteer, providing age-appropriate service projects for preschool and elementary school age children with local charitable organizations. Similarly, she spent 5 years managing two children's community service groups, Playdates & Compassion and the Goodness Girls, training future volunteers through project-based activities.

 

Prior to joining the Board in 2022, Christi has volunteered for Fastpacs since 2016, as a warehouse volunteer and delivery driver, as well as on the Empty Bowls Steering Committee from 2019-2021. Christi attended the University of Texas in Austin and received a dual Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. Prior to having children, Christi was a supply chain planning software consultant and project manager.

Dan joined the Fastpacs Board of Directors in 2023. Native to North Texas, Dan was born in Dallas and raised in Plano. He serves as a Senior Vice President and Human Resources Executive for Bank of America, where he leads strategic HR efforts for over 15,500 employees in the North Texas, Austin and San Antonio markets. He has been with Bank of America since 2007. Prior to Bank of America, Dan was the CHRO for Nationwide Recovery Systems in Addison and served in several HR management roles at MCI Telecommunications and BP, in Houston.

Dan is a graduate of Leadership Frisco Class XXVI, serves on the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council, served on the Frisco ISD Legislative Leadership Committee and 2024 Bond Committee and is a member of the Corporate Advisory Council for My Possibilities, in Plano. Dan has previously served as President of Congregation Nishmat Am in Plano and continues to serve as an ex-officio board member.

Dan and his wife, Ashley, moved to Frisco in 2013 with their sons Jackson and Connor. Jackson is a member of the Independence High School tennis team and Connor attends Nelson Middle School, where he sings in Choir. Both previously served as Campus Ambassadors, at Nelson.

SARAH RECKER, BOARD MEMBER

Joining the Board in 2021, Sarah loves the way Fastpacs mission serves food insecure students to create equity in education. An HR professional and lifelong learner, Sarah advocates for people and culture at an energy consulting company to empower employees to do their best work. She holds a SHRM-CP certification and actively participates in the local SHRM mega chapter, DallasHR. Sarah has a BBA from University of Texas at Dallas.

​

Married with two children, the Reckers love playing tennis, watching Marvel, and getting to know their neighbors.

Katrina Watland was born in Norway and grew up moving around Europe. Katrina received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Texas Tech University and her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Katrina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has a certification from Norsk Coach Akademi (Norwegian Coaching Academy). Katrina spent the bulk of her career working at the Women’s Center at the University of Texas at Dallas as a counselor, facilitator and teacher for 17 years.  She is the founder of TrueNorth Coaching and Consulting.

 

Katrina graduated from Leadership Frisco Class XII and has previously served on the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council and the Frisco Family Services Board.

 

After living abroad for the past year, Katrina rejoins the Frisco Fastpacs board with open arms. Katrina and her husband Jay enjoy family, traveling and volunteering.

RENE ARCHAMBAULT, EX OFFICIO

René is the Deputy Director of Admissions and Marketing for SMU Guildhall, the nation's leading graduate school for video game development and design, a role she has been in for 16 years. She graduated from Texas Christian University in 1999 with a degree in Marketing, and from Southern Methodist University in 2015 with a Master’s in Education, specializing in Higher Education Policy and Leadership.

​

In 2018, René was elected to the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees, and re-elected in 2021; she served the board for two years as president and is currently serving as secretary.  In addition to serving the students, staff and families of FISD, she serves the community via Frisco Women's League, National Charity League, the City of Frisco, and various committees throughout Frisco and Dallas.  René has served on the Fastpacs Board since 2017, and as the chair of the Events Committee for 2018-2020, the year that Fastpacs launched its first Empty Bowls event.

​

René is married to Randy (a former Fastpacs Board member), and they have one daughter, Zoë.

Cynthia hurley, EX OFFICIO

A 25-year Frisco resident, Cynthia has a distinguished service resume to the community, including past positions on the boards of the Frisco Community Development Corporation, the Frisco Arts Association, and the Frisco Education Foundation. She is also active in the Rotary Club of Frisco.

 

Cynthia has been a dedicated Fastpacs supporter since its founding, working with Marian Schulze to help Frisco Fastpacs establish its incorporating paperwork as a 501(c)3 charity.

​

Cynthia is a Managing Attorney at Loveland & Hurley PLLC, where she is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

KAREN CUNNINGHAM, BOARD MEMBER

Karen brings a 25+ year background in human resources, including nine years as a consultant and business owner, to her service on the Fastpacs board. First appointed in January 2019, Karen oversaw the governance and board nomination processes before beginning her term as Board Chair in June 2021. Karen also served as the Frisco Fastpacs Board of Directors Chair from 2021-2023. She is the President/Principal Consultant of Intrust HR and is certified as SPHR and SHRM-SCP.  Karen has a BBA from Northwestern State University (in her hometown of Natchitoches, LA!). 

​

Karen has extensive board experience, and has served as President/Chair of the boards of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, Frisco Family Services, and professional association DallasHR. She is the Vice-President of the Frisco Community Development Corporation, was appointed for three years to the Frisco ISD Long-Range Planning Committee, and has served on multiple PTA boards and Collin College advisory boards as well. Karen is a proud member of Frisco Women’s League and National Charity League Frisco Chapter.  She and her husband Craig live in Frisco, with their teenagers Avery and Kyle.
